  • The Camden County Board of Freeholders are a proud sponsor of the Travis Manion Foundation’s 9/11 Heroes Run 5k +1M fun run/walk at Cooper River Park on Sunday, September 9th. Events take place all over the world, on or near September 11th, and are 100% organized by local community volunteers. It is the perfect opportunity for the community to come out and thank local veterans, their families, and first responders in an annual, fun, and family friendly environment! Sign up is still open at the Haddonfield Running Company on Friday, September 7th and Saturday, September 8th, online at, or the morning of the event.

  • 9/11 Memorial Dedication, 8:15 AM Sept. 11th, Chews Landing Fire Department, 43 Somerdale Road in Chews Landing. or (856) 227-5907.
  • 9/11 Memorial Service, 7-8:30 PM. Sept. 11th, Sterling High School, 501 S. Warwick Road. or (856) 784-1333.
  • Every year, Pennsauken has a very unique 9/11 memorial event. Around 11:45 p.m. on Sept. 10, volunteers and first responders come together at the Township’s 9/11 Memorial and places almost 3,000 American flags on site. You can find more information here:
