(Lindenwold, NJ) – Freeholder Director Louis Cappelli, Jr., has been notified by Public Service Electric & Gas Company (PSE&G) that crews will be installing a gas service at 18 West Cuthbert Boulevard in Haddon Township on Thursday, Jan. 23, and Friday, Jan. 24, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The project is expected to require the complete closure of West Cuthbert Boulevard between Haddon Avenue and Atlantic Avenue.

“This is a heavily trafficked area and this closure will likely create additional traffic and delays on nearby roadways and along the detour route,” Cappelli said. “When driving in or around the construction area, always remain extra vigilant for sudden stops, shifting traffic patterns, and crews or debris that may end up in the roadway.”

Beginning at 8 a.m. Thursday and Friday morning, crews will close West Cuthbert Boulevard to all traffic between Haddon Avenue and Atlantic Avenue in Haddon Township. Posted detours will direct motorists to utilize Haddon Avenue, West Park Avenue, Crystal Lake Avenue, and Collings Avenue to circumvent the construction area. The roadway will re-open each day at 4 p.m.

This project is scheduled to be completed by 4 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 24. Scheduling and project timing is dependent on weather and may be adjusted due to unforeseen events.
