(Lindenwold, NJ) – Freeholder Susan Shin Angulo, liaison to the Camden County Department of Public Works, has been notified by Public Service Electric and Gas (PSE&G) that crews will begin an emergency gas main replacement project on Springdale Road in Cherry Hill on Monday, Jan. 28. The work will take place between the hours of 8 p.m. and 4 a.m. and is expected to last three nights. During this time, Springdale Road will be closed between Kresson Road and Route 70.

“Please allow yourself extra time to reach your destination if your route includes the stretch of Springdale Road where crews are expected to be active overnight,” Shin Angulo said. “Anytime a project requires the closure of a roadway you can expect sudden stops, shifting traffic patterns, and other changing conditions in the area surrounding construction. Motorists should be extra careful when approaching and driving through the construction area.”

The exact schedule of the project is dependent upon the weather and other factors.
