The Board of Commissioners met in Bellmawr on Monday for the next in a series of town hall meetings across Camden County. During the town hall meeting, U.S. Marine Corps Veteran Howard Grant was honored for his service to our nation. Grant joined the Marines in 1969 and was soon deployed to Vietnam, where he went on to serve two tours.
Grant is the current commander of VFW Post 9563 in Bellmawr and previously served as commander at Brooklawn Post 72. Grant also volunteers with the county Veteran’s Affairs Office and has participated in several Memorial Day, Veterans Day and 4th of July events as an organizer.
