(Gloucester Township, NJ) – The Camden County Department of Health (DOH) is announcing three new deaths caused by novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in Camden County, as well as 51 additional cases of the disease. This brings the aggregate number of confirmed positive cases to 7,192 in Camden County and 352 total fatalities.

“We are again saddened to announce the deaths of three additional Camden County residents today caused by COVID-19. Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families,” said Freeholder Director Louis Cappelli, Jr. “Growth in our total cases continues to decrease thanks to exhaustive social distancing and a commitment to the health of others by our residents. We are continuing to caution that other states are seeing renewed growth and that even as more of our state reopens, this virus is still very much among us. We must continue to take proactive measures like wearing a mask or face cover and adhering to social distancing to stop the spread of coronavirus.”
The Department of Health is announcing 51 additional positive cases of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) identified in Camden County. Trace investigations are being facilitated with the patients and remain ongoing.
In addition, the county Department of Health is also announcing 1,234 confirmed resident cases and 451 staff cases have occurred out of the aggregate case load of 7,192 in our 56 long-term care facilities. At this time, 275 resident deaths have been reported from these facilities, as well as three staff deaths, out of our 352 total fatalities countywide.
