(Lindenwold, NJ) – County Commissioner Al Dyer, liaison to the Camden County Department of Public Works, has been notified by NJ American Water that crews will replacing water valves on Terrace Avenue in Camden on Wednesday, Jan. 20, and Thursday, Jan. 21.

“Any time a roadway is closed to traffic, motorists should expect possible delays and congestion in the surrounding area,” Dyer said. “Always remain extra vigilant when driving through or around active road crews. Be on the lookout for sudden stops, construction vehicles, and any debris that may end up in the roadway. Planning ahead for any impact to your route or commuting time can also help avoid potential complications while crews are at work.”

Between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Wednesday, crews will close Terrace Avenue to all traffic between Federal Street and Freemont Avenue.

Between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Thursday, crews will close Terrace Avenue to all traffic between Freemont Avenue and Highland Avenue.

This project is expected to be completed by the end of work hours on Thursday, Jan. 21. Scheduling and project timing is dependent on weather and may be adjusted due to unforeseen events.
