Sue Quinn Morris

Congratulations to Sue Quinn Morris, 2021 Freedom Medal Award Winner.

Presented Commissioners Carmen G. Rodriguez and Melinda Kane.

Sue Quinn Morris, resident of Cherry Hill, has spent many years of her life supporting the veterans of Camden County. Morris’ work represents a strong devotion to community service; she is the creator of Patriot Connections and an ardent supporter of veterans, law enforcement, and first responders.

Morris works for the American Legion Post 372, and created the Patriot Connections website in 2009 to provide an online resource for veterans, military members, and first responders. The site compiles a comprehensive list of outreach events, collects and disburses donations, and researches and returns lost dog tags. Nearly 150 returns have been completed, and numerous dog tag returns are in the works all over the country.

Morris also volunteers and manages websites and social media for various organizations such as Stand Down of South Jersey, Jewish War Veterans, FOP Cherry Hill, Police Unity Tour CH, Marine Corps Law Enforcement Foundation Philadelphia, and Philadelphia Veterans Parade. She played a pivotal role in Camden County’s 50th Anniversary of Vietnam special event, bringing the 9/11 tribute towers and organizing police and fire escorts.
