(Lindenwold, NJ) – Freeholder Susan Shin Angulo, liaison to the Camden County Department of Public Works, has been notified by South Jersey Gas that crews will be installing a gas main on West Fleming Pike in Winslow Township, beginning at 7 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 14. The project will require a full closure of the roadway between East Malaga Road and Route 73.

“This is a multi-stage project that will take several days to complete as crews complete the installation and tie-ins,” Shin Angulo said. “Motorists should be aware of how this closure and related detour may affect their route and plan accordingly. As always, motorists should remain extra vigilant when crews are at work.”

From 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., crews will close the roadway between East Malaga Road and Route 73. A posted detour route will direct motorists along Malaga Road, Blue Anchor Road, and Route 73 to circumvent the construction area.

The project is expected to be completed by the end of work hours on Wednesday, Nov. 20. Scheduling and project timing is dependent on weather and may be adjusted due to unforeseen events.
