Job Search and Individual Employment Plan

Connect with a Career Coach who can review your skills, create an Individual Employment Plan, provide strong job leads, revise your resume and cover letter. We can refer you to partners for career enhancing services such as training assistance, literacy assistance, and supportive services.

 

Veterans Services 

Our Veterans Representative can provide specific guidance to Veterans with various barriers to employment including supportive services referrals.

Career Exploration and Assessment Services

A WIOA Counselor can evaluate your basic skills level and provide services that assist you in meeting the challenges of training that will empower you for success. We offer interests and abilities evaluations that assist you in finding the right career path for you. Our Workforce Learning Link and Literacy Volunteers can help boost your basic skills levels that will lead to career ladder opportunities.

 

NJ Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Services (NJDVRS)

Connect with a DVRS Counselor if you have a physical, mental, cognitive, or other form of disability which results in a substantial impediment to employment.  DVRS will help you obtain and maintain a job that’s in line with your strengths, interests and abilities.  Services are mutually developed between the DVR counselor and the consumer utilizing an Individual Plan for Employment (IPE) as a means to determine the services that will be needed and how they will be implemented for success.

 

Virtual Hiring Events

Our Business Representatives and Veteran Business Representatives can help plan and promote targeted recruitment events where you can meet virtually with pre-screened applicants. Our targeted recruitment services can save you time and money finding qualified workers. Connect with an experienced Business Service Representative or Veteran Business Representative who will manage your account and serve as your single point of contact.

 

Workforce 55+

Connect with a Workforce 55+ Rep if you are a mature worker looking to return to the workforce through an “earn while you learn” program.  The program partners with community-based, nonprofit organizations and government agencies to provide participants with training to update their skills. 

 

Jersey Job Club Workshops

Our virtual workshops can help you improve your resume, interview and networking skills, as well as, techniques to overcome barriers including employment gaps, and outdated skills.

 

Youth One-Stop 

Youth Counselors provide support to at-risk, out-of-school youth in Camden County between the ages 16-24. Youth are assessed and referred to varied education opportunities, job training and supportive services that help them overcome the obstacles that are preventing them from completing High School.
