Roadwork to cause road closure in Pennsauken
PSE&G will be installing a new gas main on Union Avenue in Pennsauken from Monday Nov. 28 to Friday, Dec. 2.

There will be a full road closure of Union Avenue as crews move down Union Avenue between Park Avenue and Maple Avenue. Closures include between Park and Pennsylvania avenues, between Marion and Pennsylvania avenues, between Orchard Avenue and Collins Lane and between Collins Lane and Maple Avenue.

“Since crews will be working in several locations during peak commuting hours, motorists should plan to take alternate routes to avoid any delays,” said Commissioner Al Dyer, liaison to the Department of Public Works. “Also, remember that when you’re traveling through a construction area, please slow down and stay alert for crew members and debris.”

Daily work hours are between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. daily.

 

Roadwork to cause lane shift in Camden
PSE&G is working on gas services on Haddon Avenue in Camden from Monday Nov. 28 to Friday Dec. 2 from 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. daily. There will be alternating traffic with flaggers between Kaighn and Newton avenues.

“Motorists should plan to take an alternate route and give themselves plenty of time to get to their destinations to avoid any delays,” said Commissioner Al Dyer, liaison to the Department of Public Works. “Also, remember that when you’re traveling through a construction area, please slow down and stay alert for crew members and debris.”

PSE&G will be installing services to the new gas main on State Street in Camden from Monday Nov. 28 to Friday, Dec. 2 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.                                                                                                                                                                                

There will be alternating traffic with flaggers on State Street between North 7th and North 10th streets.

Roadwork to cause lane shift in Camden (Lindenwold, NJ) – PSE&G will be returning to Dr. Martin Luther King Boulevard in Camden to install natural gas services from Monday Nov. 28 to Friday Dec. 2 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.

There will be a lane shift on Dr. Martin Luther King Boulevard between South 3rd Street and Broadway.

“Since crews will be working in an area with heavy traffic, motorists should plan to take an alternate route ahead of time to avoid delays,” said Commissioner Al Dyer, liaison to the Department of Public Works. “Also, remember that when you’re traveling through a construction area, please slow down and stay alert for crew members and debris.”

 


The Camden County Department of Public Works is responsible for maintaining over 1,200 miles of county roadway and 50 bridges.  They are dedicated to making our area safer for motorists and pedestrians through county highway construction projects and road maintenance, including pothole repairs, street sweeping, grass cutting and storm drainage upkeep. The Public Works Department is located in Lindenwold where personnel are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to serve the residents of Camden County.
