(Lindenwold, NJ) –
South Jersey Gas will be continuing system improvements to the gas line on Erial Road in Winslow Township from Monday Nov. 20 through Wednesday, Nov. 22 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. daily. There will be a full road closure on Erial Road between Wilton’s Landing and Williamstown-New Freedom roads.
South Jersey Gas will be working on East Gibbsboro Road in Lindenwold from Monday Nov. 20 to Wednesday Nov. 22 between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. daily. There will be a partial road closure northbound on East Gibbsboro Road between the White Horse Pike and South Berlin Road.
New Jersey American Water will be paving at two locations on Somerdale Road in Voorhees on Monday Nov. 20 between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. There will be a full road closure of Somerdale Road between Echelon and Haddonfield-Berlin roads.
New Jersey American Water will be continuing water service replacements on Kings Highway in Audubon and Haddon Heights from Monday, Nov. 20 to Wednesday, Nov. 22 between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. daily. There will be a full road closure of Kings Highway between Edgewood and Wyoming avenues.
South Jersey Gas will be completing the installation of a gas main on Old Black Horse Pike and Chews Landing Road in Gloucester Township from Monday Nov. 20 to Wednesday, Nov. 22 between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. daily. There will be a partial road closure westbound on Chews Landing Road between Old Black Horse Pike and King Street as well as a partial road closure eastbound on Chews Landing Road between the Black Horse Pike and Lower Landing Road.
PSE&G will be continuing the gas main install on Ferry Avenue in Camden from Monday Nov. 20 to Wednesday Nov. 22 between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. daily. There will be a full road closure of Ferry Avenue between Atlantic Avenue and Jackson Street.
“Motorists should plan ahead to take alternate routes and give themselves plenty of time to get to their destinations,” said Commissioner Al Dyer, liaison to the Department of Public Works. “Also, remember that when you’re traveling through a construction area, please slow down and stay alert for crew members and debris.”
The Camden County Department of Public Works is responsible for maintaining over 1,200 miles of county roadway and 50 bridges. They are dedicated to making our area safer for motorists and pedestrians through county highway construction projects and road maintenance, including pothole repairs, street sweeping, grass cutting and storm drainage upkeep. The Public Works Department is located in Lindenwold where personnel are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to serve the residents of Camden County.
