(Cherry Hill, NJ) – A concert at Cooper River Park scheduled for tonight, July 11, featuring the Quaker City String Band has been cancelled due to an unfavorable weather forecast and in the interest of public safety. No information on rescheduling is available at this time.
“Tonight’s forecast shows likely storms and the potential for flash flooding in some areas beginning between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m.,” said Freeholder Deputy Director Ed McDonnell, liaison to the Camden County Department of Special Events. “While we are always focused on bringing Camden County residents a variety of new, exciting activities during the summer, our first priority is always the safety of our guests and residents.”
