(Lindenwold, NJ) – Freeholder Susan Shin Angulo, liaison to the Camden County Department of Public Works, has been notified by the Public Service Electric and Gas Company (PSE&G) that crews will be installing a gas service at 3170 Westfield Avenue in Camden on Tuesday, Nov. 12. The project will require a full closure of the roadway between North 32nd Street and Rosedale Avenue.

“Traffic will be closed at the site of the installation, however access to the surrounding neighborhood will still be available,” Shin Angulo said. “Motorists should always be extra vigilant when crews are at work, and should be mindful of sudden stops, shifting traffic patterns, and any personnel or equipment that might end up in the roadway.”

From 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., crews will close the roadway between 32nd Street and Rosedale to all traffic, and close the stretch between 36th and Dudley Streets to thru traffic. Motorists will be directed along a posted detour route utilizing 36th, Federal, and Dudley Streets.

The project is expected to be completed by the end of work hours on Tuesday, Nov. 8. Scheduling and project timing is dependent on weather and may be adjusted due to unforeseen events.
