(Lindenwold, NJ) – Freeholder Susan Shin Angulo, liaison to the Camden County Department of Public Works, has been notified by Public Service Gas & Electric Company (PSE&G) that crews will be continuing a major utility pole replacement project at the intersection of Lower Landing Road and Almonesson Road in Gloucester Township, beginning Monday, Nov. 4.
“This project will continue to affect several major thoroughfares in our area, requiring a complete closure of one roadway for several days,” Shin Angulo said. “Motorists should continue to plan around the area if possible while crews are at work. If you’re in or around the construction area, please be sure to remain extra vigilant for sudden stops, shifting traffic patterns, and any crews or equipment that may end up in the roadway.”
Beginning Monday, Nov. 4, through Thursday, Nov. 7, crews will close Almonesson Road between Lower Landing Road and State Route 41 in Gloucester County. Motorists will be directed along a posted detour route to circumvent the construction area.
Crews will be active between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. each day.
This is part of a larger project that is expected to continue until approximately Friday, Nov. 8. Scheduling and project timing is dependent on weather and may be adjusted due to unforeseen events.
