(Lindenwold, NJ) – Freeholder Susan Shin Angulo, liaison to the Camden County Department of Public Works, has been notified by American Water Contractors that crews will be repairing a sewer manhole on West Collings Avenue in Camden on Thursday, May 30 between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

“Road closures can affect traffic patterns and travel times throughout the surrounding area, so it’s important for motorists to be aware of how this may impact their commute,” Shin Angulo said. “Motorists should be alert for shifting traffic patterns, congestion, and sudden stops when in the construction area. Make sure to leave extra time when commuting and remain extra vigilant of additional hazards when driving near crews and equipment.”

The project will require a partial closure of the road between Mount Ephraim Avenue and North Atlanta Road. Westbound lanes within these limits will be closed, and one eastbound lane will be utilized for westbound traffic as part of the posted detour route. Signage will be posted to help direct motorists and police will be on scene.

This project is expected to be completed on Thursday, May 30, at approximately 3:30 p.m. Scheduling and project timing is also dependent on weather and may be adjusted due to unforeseen events.
