On Friday, the Sheriff’s Office held the final day of its Sheriff’s Academy and hosted 24 students for a demonstration of tactical equipment, the bomb squad, the K9 units and more.
“This is a great opportunity for young people to get important hands-on experience as they prepare for their future careers in law enforcement,” said Camden County Sheriff Gilbert “Whip” Wilson. “The academy is also a chance for law enforcement and the community to come together and build bonds with one another, which is an integral part of our public safety approach.
