(Camden, NJ) – Air quality in Camden County will be impacted on Tuesday, June 6 and Wednesday, June 7 due to smoke traveling from wildfires in eastern Canada. Sensitive individuals, including those with heart or lung disease, the elderly and the young people should limit strenuous and outdoor activities during this time.
“Unfortunately, New Jersey is just one of several states being impacted by the massive wildfires in Quebec and Nova Scotia,” said Commissioner Virginia Betteridge, liaison to the Camden County Health Department. “If you are a sensitive individual, try your best to minimize the time you are spending outside or exerting energy as these conditions could impact your health.”
