(Lindenwold, NJ) – Freeholder Susan Shin Angulo, liaison to the Camden County Department of Public Works, has been notified by NJ American Water that crews will be replacing a hydrant on 10th Avenue at South Park Avenue in Haddon Heights tomorrow, Aug. 29. The project will require a complete closure of 10th Avenue between Station Avenue and Prospect Ridge Boulevard.

“Road closures can affect traffic patterns and travel times throughout the surrounding area, so it’s important for motorists to be aware of how this may affect their commute,” Shin Angulo said. “Motorists should be alert for shifting traffic patterns, congestion, and sudden stops when in the construction area. Make sure to leave extra time when commuting and remain extra vigilant of additional hazards when driving near crews and equipment.”

The affected stretch of roadway will be closed while crews are at work between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.

This project is expected to be completed by the end of work hours on Thursday. Scheduling and project timing is also dependent on weather and may be adjusted due to unforeseen events.
