Members of the Camden County Board of Commissioners along with elected and health officials gathered at the county’s newest testing site Wednesday morning to discuss COVID-19 testing expansion.
The site, operated by the Camden County Department of Public Health, will be administering saliva tests from Vault Medical Services to the community from 8 to 11 a.m. The days of operation are Monday, Wednesday and Friday every week until there is no longer a demand for the services. No appointment is necessary and it will be a first come first serve drive thru operation.
“Testing plays a critical role in our fight against this virus; the better we understand the challenge we are facing, the more effectively we can implement a mitigation strategy,” said Commissioner Al Dyer. “Knowing the demand and need for testing we believe the four sites we are operating now should provide us with the capacity we need to see anyone in need of a test.”
