(Gloucester Township, NJ) – The Camden County Department of Health is announcing 26 additional confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in Camden County. This brings the aggregate number of confirmed positive cases to 9,836 in Camden County today and 564 total fatalities.
“We are wishing a fast and full recovery to everyone who has recently been diagnosed with this insidious disease,” said Freeholder Director Louis Cappelli, Jr. “No part of our community has gone untouched by this pandemic. Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone who has lost a friend, loved one, or who is struggling to recover from a COVID-19-related illness. We will get through this if we work together, follow the guidance of public health experts, and trust that our sacrifices made today will lead to a better tomorrow.”
The Department of Health is announcing 26 additional positive cases of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) identified in Camden County. Trace investigations are being facilitated with the patients and remain ongoing.
In addition, the county Department of Health is also announcing 1,443 confirmed resident cases and 581 staff cases have occurred out of the aggregate case load of 9,836 in our 56 long-term care facilities. At this time, 333 resident deaths have been reported from these facilities, as well as three staff deaths, out of our 564 total fatalities countywide.

The county Health Department is currently working to trace close contacts of these newest cases. The investigations are still ongoing, and we will update the public with new developments as the information is gathered by our investigators.
