(Gloucester Township, NJ) – The Camden County Department of Health is announcing 71 additional confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) confirmed between Saturday, June 27, and Monday, June 29. This brings the aggregate number of confirmed positive cases to 7,737 in Camden County today and 445 total fatalities.

“We are continuing to see a growth rate of under one percent in Camden County, thanks in no small part to our incredible residents who have prioritized one another’s safety throughout this crisis,” said Freeholder Director Louis Cappelli, Jr. “Every day we learn more about this virus and how to combat it. What we continue to find is that the number one way to prevent the spread of coronavirus, and thereby protecting yourself and others, is to wear a mask when you’re in public or when you cannot keep six feet of separation between yourself and others. If we take this simple action, combined with social distancing and good hand hygiene, we will save lives, and prevent coronavirus from spiking in our community.”
