(Gloucester Township, NJ) –The Camden County Department of Health is announcing 90 additional confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). This brings the aggregate number of confirmed positive cases to 3,437 in Camden County today and 138 total fatalities.

“At this current time I can see a glimmer of hope as our numbers have not had significant growth and have stayed relatively consistent. This may be a silver lining as we monitor test results, hospitalizations and our long-term care facilities,” said Freeholder Director Louis Cappelli, Jr. “The reason for this hope is a direct testament to the residents of Camden County who have taken this threat seriously, as well as to the first responders, medical providers, and front line workers who have been continuing to go to work each day and keep the rest of us safe. Combatting this disease has been, and will continue to be, a team effort. We will break the back of this virus if we all commit to fulfilling our individual duties by staying home and following the governor’s orders.”
