(Lindenwold, NJ) – Freeholder Barbara Holcomb, has been notified by South Jersey Gas that crews will be conducting gas main work on Zulker Avenue, Haddon Avenue & Franklin Avenue in Berlin Township Thursday, Oct. 15, Friday, Oct. 16, and Monday, Oct. 19. The project will require multiple closures.
“This is a multi-day project which began today, and will continue through part of next week,” Holcomb said. “Motorists should know how the project will affect their route and plan ahead. As always, be extra vigilant when driving through or around the construction area for sudden stops, shifting traffic patterns, and any vehicles or debris which may end up in the roadway.”
Beginning at 7 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 15, and Friday Oct. 16, there will be a full road closure of Zulker Avenue between Haddon Avenue and Walker Avenue until 5 p.m.
Beginning at 8 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 19, there will be a lane shift at the intersection Franklin Avenue and Haddon Avenue until 5 a.m.
This project is scheduled to be completed by 5 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 20. Scheduling and project timing is dependent on weather and may be adjusted due to unforeseen events.
