(Lindenwold, NJ) – A roadway improvement project will take place this Monday, July 9, on a small section of Robert E. Kelly Drive in Gloucester Township. Crews will be milling and resurfacing sections of the roadway.

“Even when a project involves just a small portion of the entire roadway, traffic throughout the surrounding area can be impacted,” said Freeholder Susan Shin Angulo, liaison to the Camden County Department of Public Works. “Please give yourself extra time to reach your destination if you’re planning to travel near the construction site, and always be prepared for sudden stops or shifting traffic patterns.”

Robert E. Kelly Drive will be closed while crews are active between 7 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. A detour will be in place directing motorists to utilize College Drive in order to circumvent the construction area.

The project is anticipated to be completed by Monday afternoon. Scheduling and timing is dependent on weather and may be adjusted due to unforeseen events.
