(Lindenwold, NJ) – Freeholder Barbara Holcomb has been notified by the Public Service Gas & Electric Company (PSE&G) that crews will be repairing a gas leak at 600 Grove Street tomorrow, Tuesday, Oct. 27. The project is expected to require the full closure of Maple Avenue between Grove Street and Cedar Avenue.

“Motorists should be alert for sudden stops and possible congestion throughout the surrounding area while crews are at work,” Holcomb said. “Whenever you are traveling near a construction zone, always be extra cognizant of shifting traffic patterns and any crews, vehicles, or debris which may end up in the roadway.”

Beginning at 9 a.m., crews will close Maple Avenue between Grove Street and Cedar Avenue. A posted detour route will guide motorists around the affected area. The roadway is scheduled to reopen at 5 p.m.

This project is scheduled to be completed by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 27. Scheduling and project timing is dependent on weather and may be adjusted due to unforeseen events.
