For many years, when the school could not possibly afford the services of an attorney, Jim provided his legal expertise at no cost to the school or its families. And, in addition to his work at Larc, Jim has served for 40 years on the board of The Camden Home, and on the board of HQSI, two non-profit foundations devoted to bringing financial support to organizations caring for children with special needs.
Over all the years, even through the rigors of managing his own law firm and, with his wife Agnes, raising his own children, Jim has always found the time to be a fully engaged champion for children and adults who most need his help. An extraordinary champion for those with disabilities, Jim Madden surely lives Martin Luther King’s dream, “to create a more just and loving community.
