(Blackwood, NJ) – In celebration of Philadelphia’s own, Joel Embiid, being named the NBA’s Most Valuable Player for this season, Homeward Bound will be offering $21 adoption fees for all dogs in the shelter from Friday, May 5 through Sunday, May 7.
“There are over 120 dogs waiting at Homeward Bound to find their forever homes,” said Commissioner Jonathan Young, liaison to the animal shelter. “Please consider opening your heart and your home to one of our underdogs at the shelter. And if you are unable to adopt, the shelter is always in need of donations so please consider donating $21 instead.”
The adoption center is open Tuesday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
