Collingswood Fire Dept. Santa descends from atop Borough Hall by way of the Collingswood Fire Department’s ladder truck – just in time for the Borough’s official Tree Lighting Ceremony. Choral groups will sing as the town tree is lit up with twinkling lights and season’s greetings are made by Mayor Jim Maley and Commissioners Joan Leonard and Rob Lewandowski.

Santa Claus is coming to Haddon Heights! It’s the Borough’s annual Haddon Heights Holiday Parade. Come out and see our towns and neighboring towns fire trucks and emergency vehicles as well as our fantastic Haddon Heights High School Band. The parade route will begin at N. Park Ave. and Station Ave, go up Station Ave to the White Horse Pike, where Santa will hop off the Haddon Heights Fire Truck, walk down to the 500 block of Station Ave into the 600 block, greeting everyone along the way and stop at the Borough Library to light up the star on the roof. Santa will be visiting the Borough Hall after lighting up Station Ave. So kids, come and tell Santa your Christmas wishes and receive a complimentary photo with him. Light refreshments will be served as well. Photos and refreshments are provided by the Haddon Heights Municipal Drug Alliance. The 2019 Collingswood Holiday Parade – the 31st Annual! – will be held on Saturday, November 30th beginning at 10 am running along Haddon Avenue beginning at Zane Avenue. Named Best Main Street Experience by South Jersey Magazine, the parade features lively seasonal entertainment, including marching bands, dancers, holiday characters, giants on stilts, floats, mummers, live music—even sports mascots like the Phillie Phanatic. The parade, packed with bands, dancers, entertainers, floats and more, will begin at Zane Avenue at 10 am and continue to West Linden Avenue, through the heart of historic Collingswood. Cars from the Original Garden State Corvette Club and dozens of other antique and historic autos and motorcycles will drive down the parade route. The Phillie Phanatic and other Philadelphia Sports mascots will ride along also. Dance to marching bands, Mummers, string bands and oldies tunes to keep warm. Be sure to pour your cocoa early to get a good spot.”

First Baptist Church of Collingswood, 23 Frazer Avenue The annual train display by the S Gagers Train Club will be held Saturday, November 30 from 10am to 3pm at the First Baptist Church of Collingswood, 23 Frazer Avenue. The S Gaugers display never fails to delight kids of all ages. Featured in the Kids Zone are trains the children can run with assistance, legos, coloring pages and crafts. Face painting will also be offered. Hot chocolate, cookies and pretzels will be served. Many families make this a part of their annual holiday tradition. Come out to this FREE event!
