(Lindenwold, NJ) – Freeholder Susan Shin Angulo, liaison to the Camden County Department of Public Works, has been notified by PSE&G Electric that crews will be restoring concrete on Haddon Avenue in Collingswood beginning on Wednesday, Aug. 22. The project will shut down the eastbound lane between Fern and East Linden Avenues while crews are at work.
“Motorists driving through the area can expect additional traffic, sudden stops and possible congestion while crews are at work,” said Freeholder Susan Shin Angulo, liaison to the Camden County Department of Public Works. “Until construction is completed, motorists should try to plan around the area and take extra caution when driving through the construction zone.”
Crews will be active between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., during which time the eastbound lane between Fern and East Linden Avenues will be closed. Motorists will be directed to utilize Park Avenue in order to circumvent the construction area.
This project is expected to require between one and two weeks to complete. Scheduling and project timing is also dependent on weather and may be adjusted due to unforeseen events.
