Vets on Wheels

AWA’s Vets on Wheels program works in underserved communities to deliver a variety of pet care outreach services. By going out into the community, we are able to have a direct impact in areas where pet owners are unable to come to us for needed pet care services. Pet owners can get vaccinations, examinations, and help with minor medical conditions as well as access to low cost spay/neuter surgeries. These events are open to all- you don’t have to be a resident of that neighborhood.

The Camden County Freeholder Board is graciously supporting Vets on Wheels in the City of Camden. This partnership makes it possible for pet owners to keep their pets healthy. Vets on Wheels builds upon the success of AWA’s two-year Pets for Life program in the North Camden neighborhood, the goal of which was to build humane communities by helping animals and the people who love them. PetSmart Charities also supported the Community Pet Program of VOW in 2015.
