Plastic Bag Ban Panel

The Board of Commissioners invite you to join a panel to discuss the upcoming statewide plastic bag ban and to answer questions and concerns surrounding the new policy.
Beginning May 4th, retail stores, grocery stores and food service businesses statewide will be barred from providing or selling single-use plastic carryout bags and polystyrene foam food service products. Single-use paper carryout bags will be permitted to be provided or sold, except by grocery stores equal to or larger than 2,500 square feet, who are only allowed to provide or sell reusable carryout bags.
