Doreen Taylor LIVE on the Battleship New Jersey

Please join Billboard Hot 100 recording artist and Broadway star, Doreen Taylor (from Mullica Hill, NJ) for a special one night only concert aboard the Battleship New Jersey on Thursday, September 9. 100% of the proceeds from this show will be donated to The Patriot Fund to assist in their efforts to help local veterans and their families.

 

Enjoy breathtaking views of the Philadelphia skyline aboard the historic 887-foot long, 45,000-ton most decorated battleship in U.S. history and savor a one-of-a-kind evening of great music, haunting melodies and powerhouse vocals that Taylor has become well known for.

 

After numerous Philadelphia area sellouts at the TLA, World Cafe Live, Skybox Arena and Prince Music Theatre, Taylor returns in this new, highly acclaimed show, “Doreen Taylor LIVE”. The approximately 80-minute show (no intermission) will be an acoustical retrospect of the songs that were most influential in her expansive musical journey and some of the incredible stories behind them. It highlights Taylor’s career as an award winning singer/songwriter, Billboard Hot 100 Recording Artist and her time On and Off Broadway.

Taylor will also be performing a very special performance of her song “Colors of the USA” which was created for the Centennial of the US National Parks and was selected as the official anthem of the National Parks Conservation Association – for which she has also been named “Ambassador to the National Parks” for the NPCA.

 

There will be a preshow celebration beginning at 7:20 honoring 3 local Veterans who have dedicated their lives to serving our country and continue to do great things to help our community. Camden Mayor Victor Carstarphen will also be presenting a special citation to Taylor during the preshow.
