Event Navigation
Camden County Board of Commissioners & the Addiction Awareness Taskforce Presents:
DEA NATIONAL PRESCRIPTION DRUG TAKE BACK DAY
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 29, 2022•10AM-2PM
TURN IN YOUR UNUSED OR EXPIRED PRESCRIPTION MEDICATION FOR SAFE DISPOSAL
IN 2020, IT WAS ESTIMATED BY THE CDC THAT NEARLY 70,000 PEOPLE ACROSS THE UNITED STATES COULD LOSE THEIR LIVES TO OPIATE ABUSE.
Communities are taking initiatives to reduce the number of prescription drugs available for misuse. By participating in and utilizing medication drop boxes, residents reduce the availability for drugs. This not only helps to make our homes safe but also protects others from harm.
On National Take Back Day, please remove your unwanted medications and deposit them at a police station equipped with a medication drop box. HELP KEEP OUR NEIGHBORHOODS SAFE!
