Camden County Technical Schools Open House

All are welcome to attend Open House at Camden County Technical Schools (CCTS) on Wednesday, February 5th from 6:30 to 9:00 pm.  Inclement weather date is February 6th.

The two high schools that comprise CCTS provide career training programs, academic courses, and extracurricular activities to students in grades nine through twelve. The Gloucester Township Campus is located at 343 Berlin Cross Keys Road in Sicklerville, New Jersey. The Pennsauken Campus is located at 6008 Browning Road in Pennsauken, New Jersey.

Parents and their seventh, eighth, and ninth grade children are invited to attend an informational meeting at 7 pm at either campus to learn more about CCTS as a high school option.  Participants are asked to arrive by 6:30 pm to register.

As a public high school, there is no charge for high school students who live in Camden County to attend and transportation is provided by local school districts.  Graduates of CCTS receive a state–endorsed high school diploma and may go directly into the work force with employable skills or continue their education for advanced studies.

High school students spend part of the school day in their career programs and the remainder of their day in academic courses. With 30 career choices, CCTS has something of interest for every high school student…from construction and healthcare to business, homeland security, engineering, and information technology.  In their career programs, students receive hands-on training with equipment and technologies used in industry and learn the related theory needed to perform the applications.

The academic courses at CCTS are rigorous.  Courses in English, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Health and Physical Education, Visual and Performing Arts, World Languages, and Financial Literacy meet the requirements by the state for our students to earn their high school diploma and meet the necessary prerequisites for entrance to colleges and universities.

Camden County College (CCC) provides high school students at CCTS with various opportunities to earn college credits, both during the school day and after school. Students may bank the credits earned for future enrollment at CCC or transfer them to other colleges and universities. These dual-credit programs not only accelerate student achievement–they also save time and money. High school seniors who qualify attend CCC full-time through the one-year Senior Option program or the new two-year Early Associate Degree program. Last school year, 90 high school seniors at CCTS earned a year’s worth of college credits at no cost to them!

To learn more, visit our website at ccts.org, call the Admissions Office at 856-767-7000, Ext. 5424, or email admissions@ccts.net.
