CANCELED: AquaBoost Aquatic Aerobics

Due to the current Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation and to ensure the safety of residents at this time, this event has been canceled.

AquaBoost is a fun and energizing class for active seniors. The program strengthens and tones the body from head to toe using the natural resistance of the water and offers a safe way to improve muscle, strength, flexibility, and balance without impact on joints or risk of injury.

Classes incorporate warm-up and stretching exercises which transition to cardio and strength exercises followed by relaxing cool down exercises. Exercises are primarily performed in a standing position in shallow water. Classes will be held in a newly constructed lesson pool which is a 20 yard, 3-lane warm water pool with a zero-barrier entrance (ramp entry). Ideal for aquatic exercise, physical therapy, and learn-to-swim.

April 7, 9, 14, 16, 21, 23, 28, 30

May 5, 7, 12, 14

Classes will be held every Tuesday and Thursday from 10:30 a.m. until 11:20 a.m. for a period of 6 weeks. Each class can have a MAXIMUM of 20 participants and will meet twice a week for a scheduled six week session.
