Addictions Awareness Series

This is part of an educational series for addictions professionals and aspiring addictions counseling professionals.

April 18 – Professional Ethics
Speaker Dr. James Harris (Adjunct Professor, Camden County College) will provide current information about ethical responsibilities and legal considerations for the person seeking to become an addictions counselor or mental health professional.

This event is brought to you by The Center at Camden County College. The Center at Camden County College focuses on the needs and interests of educators and the community at large. Its goal is to create an informed citizenry through exploration of humanities, social sciences, natural sciences and issues critical to a democratic society. Citizens have the opportunity to meet scholars, scientists, government officials and business leaders to explore historical and current issues and discuss societal problems and their solutions.All members of the community are welcome to attend our courses, special events and lecture series. Minors may attend, preferably if accompanied by a registered parent or guardian.

This series is sponsored by the Camden County College Addictions Counseling Program in partnership with Camden County Department of Health & Human Services, Office of Mental Health & Addictions, and Camden County Addiction Awareness Task Force.
