A Menorah Lighting and Chanukah Celebration at the Lumberyard Garden (Collings and North Atlantic Avenues). All are welcome! Adventure Aquarium 

Christmas Underwater returns to Adventure Aquarium for its 13th season! Marvel at the World’s Tallest Underwater Christmas Tree, experience holiday décor throughout the entire Aquarium, enjoy lively interactive shows and come face-to-face with Scuba Santa as he dives with sharks, sea turtles, stingrays and more fishy friends! Christmas Underwater is back for a limited-time only, Nov. 26 through Dec. 24. Reservations are strongly encouraged.

Parade of Lights

The annual Parade of Lights will kick off with fire trucks and floats strung in glittering lights along the perimeter of the park beginning at Grant Avenue and Browning Road. The best viewing areas are along the park side of Park Avenue. Trucks from fire companies and organizations all over the region compete for top honors and are sure to delight spectators.

Experience the magical spirit of the season in Downtown Haddonfield with their Candlelight Shopping holiday event – a festive, one-of-a-kind Downtown shopping tradition for the entire family. Transformed into a winter wonderland during the holidays, their tree-lined streets are twinkling with sparkling lights and garland wreaths, surrounded by the seasonal sounds of holiday bells and music.

 

Barclay Farmstead Holiday House 2021

Step back in time to the simplicity and beauty of a candlelit 19th century Quaker Christmas. Costumed interpreters will explore the lives and times of the people who lived at this historic house, which is on the US and NJ Register of Historic Places. Timed tours every hour on the hour, from 4 to 8, Friday through Sunday. All ages welcome, but space is limited! Timed tickets and masks are required.

Bellmawr Christmas Parade

St. Joachim Church

In past years, the parade was strictly limited to emergency vehicle participation. Beginning this year, the parade will be open to anyone who wishes to enter a vehicle, float or marching unit along with emergency vehicles. The parade will begin at St. Joachim Church and conclude at the Borough Hall with Santa lighting the Christmas tree. After lighting the tree, Santa will be available to greet everyone at the Community Center where cookies and hot chocolate will be served. The committee and the fire department wanted to make the parade inclusive for anyone to participate and celebrate the holiday season.

Holiday Tales: A Season of Miracles 
December 6th-17th

Holiday Tales: A Season of Miracles is a sparkling collection of holiday stories from different cultures. Scenes within the play include O.Henry’s “Gift of the Magi,” E.T.A. Hoffmann’s “The Nutcracker,” “The Kwanzaa Kite,” an original tale by Ruth Fost, set in Nigeria; and a Chelm story, “The Chanukah Miracle.” Crafted and set to music by Tony Award-Winner Larry Hochman, with the timeless tone of each classic piece, this magical presentation is designed to warm the hearts and perhaps change the perspective of young audiences as they think about the true meaning and spirit of the holiday season. Ideal for Grades 4 through 8.

You may invite as many participants as you’d like, but registration is required. Just fill out the short form, and a link will be sent to you for access to the program between 12/6 and 12/17. The show’s runtime is about 50 min. You may view the show however you like and as many times as you like until 12/17. Register here

The festive lights will make for an extra special Second Saturday event starting at 5:00 PM! As always, the evening of art and entertainment will host artists, crafters, and musicians at studios, galleries, coffee houses and retail shops. Experience art, demonstrations, performances, and exhibits at several locations along Haddon Ave. Stop by Haddon and Woodlawn at the DecemberFest Holiday Pop-up from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM for even more fun featuring handmade arts and crafts, games, and winter fun.

Experience a Holiday Train Display Aboard the Battleship! A new Holiday model train display will be available for guests to experience in the Wardroom from Saturday, Dec. 11 through Sunday Dec. 26. This display, courtesy of the South Jersey Garden Railroad Society (SJGRS), will be free to experience with a tour of the Battleship. The Battleship will be open for tours everyday in December,  except for Christmas, Dec. 25.

Ring in the holiday season at Haddon Township’s 5th  annual Winterfest Market on the Square on Sunday, December 12th from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. Get into the holiday spirit at Haddon Township’s family-friendly event. Holiday music, fun activities for kids, and a special appearance by Santa will all be featured at the event. Enjoy holiday shopping early and shop one-of-a-kind gifts and stocking stuffers for loved ones at the outdoor market. Find unique gifts from area artisans and vendors, enjoy delicious treats and eats, and keep warm at the outdoor firepits. Haddon Township holiday mugs will be available for sale at the event. The Winterfest Market is FREE to attend – pay as you go. Haddon Square is located at 51 Haddon Ave. in the heart of Haddon Township’s downtown.
