(Lindenwold, NJ) – As part of the Camden County Department of Public Works (CCDPW) spring roadway improvement program, East Atlantic Avenue is being repaved through the boroughs of Laurel Springs, Lindenwold and Somerdale this week.
On April 9, East Atlantic Avenue will be closed from Stone Road to West Park Avenue in Lindenwold. On April 10, East Atlantic Avenue will be closed from Park Avenue to Warwick Road in Somerdale. Work will take place between the hours of 8 am and 5 pm.
“Improving our roadway and bridge infrastructure while increasing highway safety is one of the best investments we can make in our county,” said Freeholder Susan Shin Angulo liaison to the CCDPW. “Please remember that road construction can affect traffic patterns and travel times throughout the surrounding area, so it’s important for motorists to be aware of how this may affect their commute. Be alert for shifting traffic patterns, congestion, and sudden stops when in the construction area. Make sure to leave extra time when commuting and remain extra vigilant of additional hazards when driving near crews and equipment.”
