(Lindenwold, NJ) – Freeholder Susan Shin Angulo, liaison to the Camden County Department of Public Works, has been notified by the Public Service Electric and Gas Company (PSE&G) that crews will be installing gas services on Cuthbert Boulevard in Haddon Township on Monday, Feb. 4. During this time, Cuthbert Boulevard will be fully closed between West Park and MacArthur Boulevards.

“This closure will likely impact daily commutes and traffic patterns, so be sure to allow yourself extra time to reach your destination,” Shin Angulo said. “Motorists should monitor the status of this project in the event it extends longer than anticipated, and should be sure to review the planned detour route ahead of time. Anytime a project requires the closure of a roadway you can expect sudden stops, shifting traffic patterns, and other changing conditions in the area surrounding construction.

From the hours of 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. crews will completely close Cuthbert Boulevard between West Park and MacArthur Boulevards. Motorists will be directed along a posted detour route utilizing West Park Boulevard, Crystal Lake Avenue, and MacArthur Boulevard to circumvent the affected roadway.

The project is expected to be completed by the end of work hours on Monday, Feb. 4. Scheduling and project timing is dependent on weather and may be adjusted due to unforeseen events.
