(Lindenwold, NJ) – This week, a one-way detour will be in place on Kings Highway between Black Horse Pike and East Lake Drive in Haddon Heights from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. from Thursday, Nov. 14 to Friday, Nov. 15. The closure is due to the ongoing Kings Highway improvement project that broke ground in September.
“This closure will be brief and is important to this major project,” said Commissioner Al Dyer, liaison to the Department of Public Works. “Motorists should avoid the area during the closure and find alternate routes before traveling. And as always, if you are traveling through a construction area, please slowdown and watch for debris and road crew members.”

The Camden County Department of Public Works is responsible for maintaining over 1,200 miles of county roadway, 50 bridges and several dams.
