Camden County Commissioner Al Dyer and Camden City Mayor Vic Carstarphen distributed KN95 face masks at Camden High School. The masks were recently donated by Cooper University Health in an effort to mitigate the further spread of COVID-19.
“Making sure these masks get into the hands of our students, teachers and staff in our high schools is vital to limiting outbreaks and limiting transmission of COVID-19,” said Commissioner Al Dyer. “We know that the omicron variant is an aggressive contagion and we need to use every tool and resource we have to slow the infection rate.”
Additional locations will be part of the mask distribution after Camden High School, including senior complexes and nonprofits throughout the city.
