(Lindenwold, NJ) – Freeholder Susan Shin Angulo, liaison to the Camden County Department of Public Works, has been notified by NJ American Water, that crews will be paving at the intersection of Clements Bridge Road and Irish Hill Drive in Runnemede on Friday, Sept. 6. The project will require a full closure Clements Bridge Road between Schubert and Mitchell Avenues.

“Crews are expected to begin work before morning rush hour, so it’s important for motorists to be aware of how this may affect their commute,” Shin Angulo said. “As with any closure, it is important to pay close attention to road markers and detour signage, and remain alert for crews, vehicles, or equipment when you’re in or around the construction area.”

Beginning Friday at 7 a.m., crews will close the road between Schubert and Mitchell Avenue, and begin directing motorists along a posted detour route utilizing Black Horse Pike, Evesham Road, and Schubert Avenue.

Crews are expected to finish the project by 5:30 p.m. Scheduling and project timing is dependent on weather and may be adjusted due to unforeseen events.
