(Lindenwold, NJ) – Freeholder Al Dyer has been notified by New Jersey American Water that a water installation project will close Capital Avenue in Oaklyn from the White Horse Pike to Newton Avenue/East Atlantic Avenue from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on February 17, 2021.
“Please allow yourself extra time to reach your destination and remain alert if your route includes this section of Capital Avenue in Oaklyn,” said Dyer, liaison to the Camden County Department of Public Works. “Any time a project requires the full closure of a roadway you can expect sudden stops, new traffic patterns, and other changing conditions.”
A posted detour route will guide motorists around the impacted area. Scheduling and project timing are dependent on weather and may be adjusted due to unforeseen events.
