(Gloucester Township, NJ) – The Camden County Juvenile Detention Center, the county’s pre-trial juvenile detention center, is currently seeking applicants for open positions. The center resolves to provide its residents with the best possible care while they are in custody and provides a safe, secure environment where careful intervention, educational opportunity and true mentoring can produce reduced recidivism. The Center is seeking applicants who share these values.
“This is a tremendous opportunity for individuals in search of employment and who share our passion for bettering the lives of the juveniles in our care,” said County Commissioner Jonathan Young, liaison to the Juvenile Detention Center.
Applicants should have a high school diploma, possess a valid New Jersey driver’s license, must be citizens of the United States, and New Jersey residents. Appointees will be required to successfully complete a training program approved by the New Jersey Police Training Commission.
