(Gloucester Township, NJ) – To ensure that residents have more opportunities for a safe and healthy holiday season, the Camden County Health Hub will be offering COVID-19 testing beginning next week.

Testing will be available from Monday, Dec. 20 to Wednesday, Dec. 22 as well as on Monday, Dec. 27 and Tuesday, Dec. 28. Testing hours will run from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.

“With cases on the rise, we want to make sure all Camden County residents have access to tests to ensure they can stay safe and healthy,” Commissioner Director Louis Cappelli Jr. said. “Getting tested is especially crucial if you plan on gathering with friends or family for the upcoming holidays. Before you interact with anyone outside of your immediate household, please get tested and take all of the necessary precautions so we can avoid a surge after the holidays.”

Beginning on Jan. 3, testing will be available at the Health Hub from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

The vaccine clinic will continue to operate from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday until Jan. 3. On that date the hours of operation for the vaccine clinic will shift to 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursdays.

“If you have not been vaccinated against COVID, you really shouldn’t be attending group gatherings,” Cappelli said. “We all want to things to return to normal and the best way to do that is to get vaccinated. The vaccines are safe, effective and readily available so please, get vaccinated.  And if you haven’t received your booster yet, make sure to do so.
