8 New COVID-19 Cases Identified in Camden County Tuesday

(Gloucester Township, NJ) – The Camden County Department of Health is announcing 7 new positive cases of COVID-19 which occurred between Tuesday, May 9. Additionally, there was 1 case detected through antigen testing, bringing the total number of cases 8. The aggregate number of confirmed positive cases in Camden County to 139,836 and 1,804 total fatalities. 

 

The outcomes from these antigen tests, unlike the results from the polymerase chain reaction, (PCR) are probable positive cases. These daily numbers are added into our aggregated lab tested PCR metrics.

Of the 7 cases, 0 are among patients under 18 years old. The average age of the newly infected is 59 years old.

To date, 427,025 Camden County residents have received at least one of the COVID-19 vaccine, 383,470 have received two doses and 254,922 have received a third dose.
