62 COVID-19 Cases Identified in Camden County

(Gloucester Township, NJ) – The Camden County Department of Health is announcing 62 new positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the aggregate number of confirmed positive cases in Camden County to 50,498 and 1,238 total fatalities. 

Today’s cases are involving residents living in the following municipalities:

“We are continuing to see the spread of this disease increase every single day due to the Delta variant,” said County Commissioner Director Louis Cappelli, Jr. “People are still getting sick and dying from COVID-19. This pandemic has not ended. We need everyone to get vaccinated as soon as possible so we can stop the spread of Delta in our community.”

To date, 303,470 Camden County residents have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, while 277,511 are fully vaccinated. More information regarding vaccination rates throughout the county and available on the state’s COVID-19 dashboard at covid19.nj.gov.

The county Health Department is continuing to closely track new cases of COVID-19 and information regarding the prevalence of the Delta variant. New cases are often reassigned to other municipalities over the course of an investigation.
