39 New COVID-19 Cases Identified in Camden County

(Gloucester Township, NJ) – The Camden County Department of Health is announcing 26 new positive cases of COVID-19 which occurred on Tuesday, March 1. Additionally, there were 13 cases detected through antigen testing, bringing the total number of cases to 39. The aggregate number of confirmed positive cases in Camden County to 103,918 and 1,594 total fatalities. 

 

The outcomes from these antigen tests, unlike the results from the polymerase chain reaction, (PCR) are probable positive cases. These daily numbers are added into our aggregated lab tested PCR metrics.

Of the 26 cases, 6 are among patients under 18 years old. The average age of the newly infected is 51 years old.

Vaccine hours:

 

Operational hours at the Camden County Health Hub vaccine clinic run from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursdays. This includes booster shots for ages 12-17.

 

To date, 405,393 Camden County residents have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, while 352,020 have received two doses and 175,198 have received a third dose. The county Health Department is continuing to closely track new cases of COVID-19 and information regarding the prevalence of the Omicron variant. New cases are often reassigned to other municipalities over the course of an investigation.
