“Cases are continuing to come in, but the good news is we have ways to protect ourselves from getting severely ill or being hospitalized,” said Commissioner Director Louis Cappelli, Jr. “We have the vaccines and on Friday, the Centers for Disease Control authorized all adults in the US to be eligible for booster shots. This is coming at a key time as holiday gatherings are on the horizon. You can make an appointment for your first or second dose or your booster shot at the Camden County Health Hub by visiting www.CamdenCountyVaccine.com.”

To date, 429,932 Camden County residents have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, while 318,802 are fully vaccinated and 71,216 have received a third dose. More information regarding vaccination rates throughout the county and available on the state’s COVID-19 dashboard at covid19.nj.gov.

The county Health Department is continuing to closely track new cases of COVID-19 and information regarding the prevalence of the Delta variant. New cases are often reassigned to other municipalities over the course of an investigation.
