282 New COVID-19 Cases Identified in Camden County

(Gloucester Township, NJ) – The Camden County Department of Health is announcing 282 new positive cases of COVID-19 which occurred between Thursday, November 25 and Friday, November 26, bringing the aggregate number of confirmed positive cases in Camden County to 62,320 and 1,354 total fatalities. 

Of the 282 new cases, 67 are among patients under 18 years old. The average age of the newly infected is 32 years old.

“The high case count we’ve recorded over the last two days just shows that this pandemic is not over yet,” said Commissioner Director Louis Cappelli, Jr. “Vaccines and booster shots are still the best way that we can protect ourselves while cases are on the rise. To date, 437,679 Camden County residents have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, while 319,248 are fully vaccinated and 76,059 have received a third dose. The county Health Department is continuing to closely track new cases of COVID-19 and information regarding the prevalence of the Delta variant. New cases are often reassigned to other municipalities over the course of an investigation.
